My mantra for the last 15 years in the window treatment world is “Draperies in the room are the jewelry to the outfit- they add the little something extra to finish off the look”. They can be subtle classic design or a statement piece that give the space a punch. Either way there are many elements that go into creating the custom look.
Fabric Choice- Solid or Pattern, neutral or color all have desirable qualities. It’s a matter of picking the right look for the space and keeping in mind how much of a statement you want to make. Each type of fabric can achieve the desired effect if you do it the right way, and we are available to collaborate and advise.
Hardware- There are a vast array of style out there to choose from but going with a custom rod is always the correct way. The telescoping rods will never not live up to the task at hand.- the weight and repetitive use can cause bowing and breakage, and your rings will catch on the spot where the rods overlap.
Heading Style- The top of the drapery should match the style of your décor- Pleated, Ripplefold, Rod Pocket and Grommet to name a few, but it's important for them to fit the width and length of your rod.
Installation- We offer professional measure and installation services, and have found it to be essential. Making sure all window treatments fit the space properly and are hung accordingly is an important design element.
Our Personal Consultation- A service we provide at your home or establishment will guide you through the options and help formulate the best design for your project.
